Acclaimed violinist Jinjoo Cho brings her “intense lyricism and heartfelt tenderness” to one of the greatest concertos written for the instrument. The program opens with Robert Schumann’s mini-symphony, Overture, Scherzo and Finale. Inspired by the Baroque, British composer Thomas Adès reinterprets the harpsichord studies of François Couperin.
